New Years 2003

it's a few minutes past the falling of the ball. My computer is playing Auld Lang Syne.? I was just thinking back on this past year.? I can honestly say i started 2004 one way, and ended it in a completely different way.? KMAZ still existed,?? Cyndi got married, I moved into my sisters old place, I purchased furniture.? Sofas, twice.? KVNS was created.? B104 left, Danny left, grandparents died, i bought a new car, it snowed in the valley. Lost a whole bunch of friends, Hitman, Tony, Amanda.... I got to get closer to allot of other people.? Lori, Sandy, Jimmy, Carla, Rachel, of course Patti.. I found out alot about myself. I found out that i could actually find someone who would always treat me the way i wanted. Who would love me and care for me and be the other part of myself that i've always been looking for. You know that old country song, she's not the girl of my dreams. She's more? Yeah.. it was like that. Even though i've known Patti longer than just this year, this year in particular was a deffinate change in both of our lifes. Together and apart. I don't know what the future holds but i hope she's there with me through it.

I found myself growing apart from other friends, some by distance, change in jobs or just because our lives changed. Linda, Marilda, Valerie, Amy.? Where we used to talk all the time or hang out or just have meaningful visits- time has taken it's toll and left just thoughts of how things used to be.? I don't regret any of it. I don't regret the past or the relationships i've had. I know i've have learned alot from them and they have been important in making me who i am today. I can use those experiences both good and bad to learn what i want to become and what i don't want to become.

I have no idea what to expect this year.? Only to be expecting.

On the Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Jay went into t

On the Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Jay went into the audience to find the most embarrassing first date that a person ever had. The winner described her worst first date experience and there was absolutely no question as to why her tale took the prize! What do you think? "It was midwinter, snowing and quite cold and the guy had taken her skiing. It was a day trip (No overnight involved). They were strangers, and truly did not know each other. The outing was fun but relatively uneventful until they were headed home late that afternoon. They were driving back down the mountain when she gradually began to realize that she should not have had that extra latte. They were about an hour away from anywhere that had a restroom. Her date suggested she try to hold it, which she did for a while. Unfortunately, because of the heavy snow and slow going, there came a point where she told him he had better stop and let her pee beside the road, or it would be all over the front seat of his car. They stopped and she quickly crawled out beside the car, yanked her pants down and started to pee. In the deep snow she didn't have good footing, so she let her butt rest against the rear fender to steady herself. Her date stood on the other side of the car watching for traffic and, as a real gentleman, refrained from peeking. Upon finishing, she soon became aware of the problem. As she bent to pull up her pants, the young lady discovered her butt was firmly stuck against the car's fender. Thoughts of tongues frozen to pump handles immediately came to mind as she attempted to disengage her flesh from the icy metal. It was quickly apparent that she had a brand new problem due to the extreme cold. Horrified by her plight and yet aware of the humor, she answered her date's concern about "what was taking so long," with, "she was truly freezing her butt off and needed some assistance"! He came around the car as she tried to cover herself with her sweater and then, as they looked at each other, he burst out laughing. She too, got the giggles and when they finally managed to compose themselves, they tried to figure a way out of this mess. Both agreed it would take something hot to free her chilly cheeks from the grip of the icy metal. Thinking about what had gotten her into the predicament in the first place, both quickly realized that there was only one way to get her free. So, as she looked the other way, her first time date proceeded to unzip his pants and pee her butt off the fender. Rescue accomplished! As you can imagine, the remainder of the trip home was pretty quiet and despite their 'intimate encounter' The two did not see one another again." As for the Tonight Show...she took the prize hands down... or perhaps that should be "pants down". Jay Leno was a little speechless at first, but later added, "This story gave a whole new meaning to being 'pissed off'."

you’ll never quit untill you hurt everyone around

you'll never quit untill you hurt everyone around you and they all leave you

something that you did will destroy me...

something that you said will stay with me...

long after you're dead and gone...

take it back? I dare you take it back...

no you can't?... you should have thought of that...

what's inside a man... that goes so wrong...

choke on guilt that's far too good for you...

say one word I'll laugh and bury you...

and leave you in the place where you left me...

wow..i actually had a productive day. i got to get some spansets, on discount too. I went shopping for a 40 space rack with plexi doors but the only one they had was full. and like 800 so i settled for two 20 space units. I'm going to load that up in the rack closet in the main equipt closet. I'm also working on wiring up the patch punch pannels properly. (that's a tounge twister) All i've gotten done so far is the xlr out's going to the stage. i still need to do all the XLR in's as well as the cross connects. I also want to set the polarity correct on ALL the cables.

my first day off, got to sleep in.. had a really w

my first day off, got to sleep in.. had a really wierd dream that my website was running extremly slow. ok.. call me wierd.. i'm dreaming about the speed of the webservers in my laundry room. so i got to sleep in a bit.
ok.. i'm back. i was typing that original note from some parking lot on Nolana that i found an unsecured AP on. You'd be suprised how many people out there have wireless networks that aren't secured. anyway. it was a busy day today. Woke up, took megan to drivers ed, fixed danny's computer, dropped off some cable and worked on my week project. Mostly planning. Picked megan up, took her and Patti to lunch, went to rio radio, pickedup some equiptment, went to the dentist, he wanted my wisdom teeth, now i'm back home making dinner for Mark and Tara. Going to start working on her senior project.

I feel like a sprinter who's runner faster than their legs can keep up with and any minute i'm going to topple over myself. I've built up so much momentium these past few months that now that i get a chance to stop and rest i feel like i'm still going. Had a meeting with Mark and Tara this afternoon. Looks like i have my next project lined up. Now where can i find a hydrolic lift for a section of stage....
