Today on my way to work, I started thinking about all the stuff that has been happening in my life, I know shouldn't..but I did..I started thinking about the old times, my old friends, the way things used to be..I even heard one of my old friends on the air who was doing a remote just blocks away from work...but I said no, they are busy..and happy and I don't need to bother them right now...it was a rough day...but I got through it...I told someone today, I miss the old times, and they said I would have times likes these every once in a while but things will get better...friends will always be there...and just make things better for yourself...and I think I am ...I just miss the old days...I miss you guys..sorry for being a bother..but I had to write this to get this out of my head...sorry....
i just tried the stuffed crunch and i highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys taco bell. i don't think i've enjoyed a taco bell quiet as much as this since the first time i ever ate taco bell. *sigh* i remember it like it was yesterday. I was competing in some UIL event.. we were having our regional compeition in Brehmen (sp) home of Blue Bell. There isn't really anything out there so we would always stay in this roach motel on the outskirts of the city. The hotel was something else.. if you weren't up early there wasn't any hot water. you hoped you didn't see any unwanted pest while you slept. we found some wierd stuff under the beds. Next door to the "motel" there was this bowling alley. I think it was the local dive for the entire town. All the hicks who lived out here hung out at the bowling alley. it was the kind of alley that had a projector on all the lanes that you would use to keep track of your score.
in the same vicinity there was a taco bell. I decided to have dinner there with Christina Ramos. I wasn't sure what to order.. something healthy i thought. hum.. what could i order. hey they have a salad. a taco salad no less. sure.. i'll order that. and upon my first bite i knew that i had found the food that would sustain me the rest of my life. it was then that i began this sinfull relationship between me and the bell. back in my college years i would spend almost every evening with the bell. the drive through attendants knew me by the sound of my car.
i don't get to see the bell as much as i'd like.. but i found out years later that just because it's a salad doesn't mean it's necessarly healthy. and my stomach isn't what it used to be. the fix from mild sause wasn't enough.. so we uped to hot sauce.. and later that couldn't do it for me anymore.. then we switched to fire sauce... just to get the same fix.
hello.. my name is john.. and i'm a taco bell addict.
Two weeks ago they had a power shortage here at the station, it messed up our Scotts Studios. We are have about 40 percent back up but we play CD's and half of our image is gone...so we had to start from scratch. I thought they would have fixed this problem while I was on vacation..guess what...THEY DIDN'T!! Now I am on their butts wondering why they taking so long, and then to make matters worse, they had three power outages today..messing it up even more....GET ME OVER THERE!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS!!!
i don't know why everything is so irritating today. i must just be in one of those moods. i think everyone decided to bring me there issues today and i just rather be left alone. tonight i get to see patti though. yea! she's doing a thing for manuel's church youth retreat thingy so they are picking me up on the way. That will give me a good hour here alone to actaully get work done. I could get so much stuff done if there wasn't anyone around to add to my my pile of stuff to do. oh well.. i'll get to rest tonight.
I've finished 3 1/2 episodes of my proposed "mini-series" (or whatever). It's about a hypothetical America, in which security takes precedence over religious freedom. Should be interesting, if it ever goes to film (cough...John...).
I think I saw Shannon on a commercial for Where's Willie...or something. It was on NBC this one day as I was watching The Simpsons. Can anyone confirm that it was her? I got confused when she said "Hi...I'm Lee". I thought that maybe they were spoofing those OLD commercials of that white chick that did those "Make an offer" commercials (does anybody remember those?). Whatever...
Ok.. well if you haven't noticed i changed this thing up a bit. The converstion process from the old blog to this one was alot easier than i expected, but i still had to go in and edit all the entries and fix the authors. but 111 pages of authors is easier than doing everything. I got to use that time to go through some of the stuff everyone has written. it's kinda neat to see the past year of my life on 111 pages of 8 x 10 paper. kinda sobering too. I still have work to be done on this but it should all be completed within the next few days.
Yesterday i spent all day looking for this powercord for my laptop. I had been using it all week without the cord so i knew my battery was already week. looked all over my house and couldn't find it. i must have left it at work. so this morning patti, hannah and i went to the station to get the cord from there. i get to the office and it's not there. so we get back in the car and i'm thinking i must have left it at church. so we go back to edinburg and check at church and it's not there either. i get back in the car and i think tori was in the back seat and was asking what i was looking for and i said a cord that looks like this.. pointing to a cord in the back seat and as i pulled the cord out.. i realized that it was the one i had been looking for for two days. so then we droped off tori.. and took patti to avalon to let her get to rest for a while, hannah and i got to go shopping. that was fun. i came home tired and got a good nap. now i've been working on changing the photo album program on this site. keep a look-out for the new system.
