Fun Filled Week

Let’s see what’s going on this week

Tonight it’s another long night, moving some antennas here at the station.

Thursday is groundhog day, and we go “public” with our 4 new stations.

Friday is Patti’s birthday

Saturday is the kite festival at the island

sunday is the big game, i need to try and get a copy of the clocks, i’m also going to need someone to run mastercontrol, another for cg, and another to actually tune the broadcast and maintain the satelite feed.

I’m also going to need to install that projector mount sunday as well.  guess we’re not going to have time to do the boat.

On the 11th is Megan’s birthday, On the 14th is Valentines day, On the 18th is Tori’s birthday, and the 25 is racing.

The numbers came in…
Current mood: crappy

well, Arbitron released their numbers for Q94.5, and my predictions were right, all the beat listeners probably went to wild, we went down but we maintained from the fall book from last year (which to me is good) my question is, my numbers during my shift went down AGAIN! This is the second time my numbers went down, what am I doing wrong? should I talk less? Do I need to refresh some of my show? I’m thinking of bringing back the 5 second shoutout at 6pm…I know I did the best I could, I feel sorry for Que Pasa they dropped dramatically! I see changes in the future…on ALL the stations…I just need to focus more and we will kick ass next book! (hopefully!) If anyone has any good ideas for my show please let me know…

If you see Hitman give him props.  He’s been working hard and the only reason KFRQ is doing as good as it is.. is because of him.  He’s probably the only one out there that really cares about the quality of what he does.  I think alot of people were suprised with the results, including our own building.  But i’ve learnred that the pendilum swings different ways each time.  It was just someone eles’s turn this time.

Dear IRS,

Dear IRS:

Enclosed is my 2005 tax return showing that I owe $3,407.00 in taxes. Please note the attached article from USA Today, wherein you will see that the Pentagon is paying $171.50 for hammers and NASA has paid $600.00 for a toilet seat. I am enclosing four toilet seats (value $2,400) and six hammers (value$1,029), bringing my total remitted to $3,429.00. Please apply the overpayment of $22.00 as a donation for PETA, as noted on my return. You can do this inexpensively by sending them one 1.5″ Phillips Head screw (article from USA Today detailing how HUD pays $22.00 each for 1.5″ Phillips Head Screws is enclosed for your convenience.
It has been a pleasure to pay my tax bill this year, and I look forward to paying it again next year.

Ratings come out today

yeah, it’s that time of year again.  The time when they decided if we’re going to have a good next 6 months or a rough one.  ratings are important because it’s what advertisters base there choices on spending there money on.  The better we can serve there audience (and prove it with ratings) the more reveune we can make.  It’s a wait and see right now.

i dont’ think i have a problem with choas

but today we went to quiznos for lunch.  The food was really good but it was a small cramped place, lots of noise, nothing really soothing.  made me feel like crawling out of my skin actually.  Makes me wish i was at the river walk having dinner at the lone star cafe on the poarch over looking the trees and the river.. or better yet, pepers on the falls in san marcos, over looking the gulaupe river.  that’s an idea.  let’s pack up the kids and the todds and guy (well, i guess he counts as one of the kids) and let’s all go to san marcos.

Hang in there, John

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:30-32

I know your exhausted, but it WILL get better, I promise. I love you.

At Least I know I’m a Sinner
